In September 2011, PPI successfully raised the necessary equity to establish a new investment syndicate to acquire the Taree Central shopping centre on the mid-north coast of New South Wales for $53.5 million.

Mt Barker Central
Mt Barker Central, located in one of Adelaide's fastest growing residential areas is in the midst of a 3-stage development plan to ensure the shopping needs of the residents of Mt Barker and surrounding hamlets are adequately catered for.
Stage 1 of the development comprising a 950sqm extension to the existing Kmart and the provision of a new dual level parking facility on Cameron Street capable of accommodating approximately 280 additional car spaces was completed in mid-2009.

Stage 2 of the development comprising the development of approximately 835sqm of active street retail accommodation on Hutchinson Street and the extension of the existing dual level parking facility to accommodate approximately 70 new car spaces was completed in early 2011.
Stage 3 of the development included the development of approximately 600sqm of additional retail accomodation and was completed in late 2011.

Victor Central
Victor Central, located in Adelaide's premier seaside holiday town of Victor Harbor has just had an exciting $25 million redevelopment completed upon it. This redevelopment will ensure that Victor Central is able to satisfy the needs of Victor Harbor's fast growing permanent population as well as the thousands of seasonal holiday makers who visit Victor Harbor for decades to come!
The redevelopment included a new 5,200sqm Big W store, a fully refurbished Woolworths store as well as approximately 16 new specialty tenancies. To support the growth of the shopping centre a new under-croft car park has also been built for approximately 240 cars which provides for easy travelator access right into the heart of the centre.

In addition to the new full line Big W, this redevelopment will see Victor Harbor benefit from an enlargement to the existing pharmacy and news agency, as well as the introduction of a new Dick Smith, Feast Fine Foods, Priceline, Vibe Accessories and Wombat fashion just to name just a few.
